CHURCH FAMILY MISSION

CHURCH FAMILY MISSION

Church Family Mission was deliberately situated close to several of the poorest compounds in Kabwe (Nakoli and Shamabanse).  The church building was established in 2005.

Around that time a wonderful lady called Martha Shapi was teaching a small group of orphans under a tree next to the church.  From that seed the project began and over the following 12 years with invaluable funding from CONTESA in the UK, the site as we now know it developed.  Three school blocks were built along with a dining hall/kitchen, an ablutions bloc, an administration block and finally for now in 2014 the Family Pillar Vocational Skills Centre was opened.
